らせん (Rasen) (Crucifixion x La'Veil MizeriA side project) will be releasing a new single "切断" (Setsudan) on August 9th. It will be sold their live at 恵比寿clubaim (Enbisu clubaim) for 1,000 yen. A track listing was not revealed, but based on their other 1,000 yen singles, it will most likely contain two songs. Also, they also released an additional single on May 6th called "死化粧" (Shigeshou). I don't recall seeing a thread here about that, but that's out floating around in space for you kote-kei collectorz out there. 1. 縋想 (Sugasou) 2. 死化粧 (Shigeshou)

Their output has been a bit hit & miss for me, but they've definitely got my attention, so I'm keeping an eye on them. I like LIQUID VAIN, but those harsh vocals kinda ruin it for me. Really diggin the melodic-punk vibes on 邪崩 tho,

Hello ^^ I have come across this forum a couple of times while i was searching for Visual Kei information online, i decided to sign up today after lurking on this site for a couple of weeks ^^ To tell something about myself, i have been a fan for a long time now (least 8 years) and have not really communicated with anyone about it. this due mainly to anxiety i have hand being afraid i often will get judged for it ^^' i hope i can make some contacts on here and hope to learn new music even! Musical bands that i am interested in is mainly older 90's bands, such as BAISER, MIRAGE, MALICE MIZER, ROUAGE and a couple of musical releases by La'Mule, i recently found out about D=SIRE and love them a ton! There are also a bunch of other genre's that peek my interest such as some kotekei bands or late 90's/early 2000's indie projects ^^. Thank you very much for everyone who takes their time to read my little story ^^

Artists use their preferred medium to present thought provoking/evocative/controversial/whatever messages all the time. Kyo & Co. aren't the first and they certainly won't be the last. And considering this is the same band with the vocalist that promised to one day fuck our parents as well as rape our daughters on our graves, I REALLY don't think they're concerned with offending anyone. Also, if they were worried about killing off their fan base, they never would have recorded DSS.

He's definitely improved a lot since their first single. And in VK where a lot of singers either sound the same or can't sing at all I think kouki is like a hidden gem.

Ya know, speaking as someone whose tastes lie chiefly outside of VK...I think there's always been an element to D'espa that sounded distinctly non-VK...and even non J-rock to an extent. Your Linkin Park comparisons kinda give a bit of credence to those claims on it's own. But Hizumi's voice...it definitely had a VK tone to it...but his delivery seemed sharper and more...controlled? than a lot of VK vocalists I've heard. He also had a kind of "pizazz" to his delivery that I thought stood out. I don't think I can properly articulate what I mean, but hopefully you kinda get what i'm hinting at. Also, the production quality for [Coll:set] was stellar, but I definitely wouldn't say it was typical of VK or J-rock as a whole. [Coll:set] was pretty densely layered (maybe even overproduced), but also had a really punchy quality to it that I could only poorly describe as "western". So in a way, I can see why you'd want to dismiss them add exclude them from the VK canon, but for those same reasons, I think that's why I've always been fond of them. Mind you, I pretty much stopped caring about their work post-2006. REDEEMER was somewhat "redeeming" tho.

oh nvm, I didn't see the embedded video by some reason this isn't half-bad compared to the other up and cumming scene kweens of this year tbh, I like the slightly shoddy vocals. I hope the baguette chanteuse doesn't end up in the same-sounding flatrange VK vocalist stall a single or two from now (also I think they'll disband fast.)

Rather 'oldish' pic I ditched the Fractal Define XL and went with a Corsair 760T in white. In this pic there are 2xGTX 970s in SLi but I ditched them last year for a single 1070. Ive also got a 512GB Samsung 850 Pro but the handle of the side panel is hiding it. Ive also added more ram so now im at 32GBs Everythings still the same otherwise. [email protected] and X79 Pro. Not really much needs doing with this PC. Would love to get a 1080Ti but I dont think it would be worth it given how much I game these days. (Damn, I wish i was unemployed again -- id spend all night and day just gaming)

Took a spooky night video of my new rig. Dual GTX 1080s in SLI, i7-5820k, 40 GB of Corsair Dominator ram (though windows is acting kinda buggy and only detecting 32), and more HDDs than is probably sane (3TB in SSDs, 8TB in mechanical) all slapped on an ASUS R5E in a Lian-Li DK-04 desk case. This thing really powers the fuck out of some spreadsheets because I never have time to play games :'3

Their first release was amazing. I could clearly hear how much Koryu and Tetsuya brought music-wise, Tsurugi added a lot as well on top of that. The other two.... The title songs are kinda weird, which is not the main problem. The b-sides are so vanilla, that a thought appeared that they do them purely to please their female fans. And there's zero-to-none of elements that made their first release to stand out in the world of visual-kei.

So even MIRROR was that bad? The last album I liked from them and preferred over Coll:set (never understood the massive hype, sorry) was REDEEMER due to its otherwise consistent yet surprising diversity (i.e. not just trying to fanboy MM during each and every rocking number) for a vk band of that time. KAMIKAZE is still one goddamn banger, and even this: Along with Lizard... Makes me miss them even more.
